上海中学国际部（高中部）

招生概况

(一) 招生对象

在沪工作的外籍人士或港澳台人士的子女。

(二) 招生年级

浦西校区：9-12年级(高中)。

(三) 学制

一学年分为两个学期。第一学期从每年9月1日至次年2月；第二学期从次年2月至8月底。其中7月1日至8月31日为暑假；中国春节前后有三周左右的寒假。每学年春秋假各1天；圣诞节放假3天；元旦放假1天；劳动节和国庆节等法定节假日按上海市人民政府规定放假。

(四) 上课时间

上午8：15上课；中午12：10～13：10午餐和休息；下午13：10～15：50上课(周一～周四)；下午13：10～14：10上课(周五)； 16：08学校发出校车。

(五) 校车

学校为学生提供校车服务。（接送范围：直线距离13公里以内）

(六) 餐厅

学校设有两个学生餐厅，由索迪斯公司经营。学生可以在餐厅用餐（餐费自理）或自带午餐。学校提供微波炉和冰箱。

上海中学国际部欢迎具有艺术（美术、歌唱、舞蹈、戏剧、器乐等）或运动（篮球、足球、游泳、网球等）特长的学生报名我校。报名时请同时递交自我陈述，学校在经过对学生材料的审核和面试等评估环节后，优秀者可予以优先录取。

General Information

I. Enrollment Policy

SHSID enrolls qualified international students, including overseas students and students from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.

II. Grades

Puxi campus: Grades 1-5 (primary school); 6-8 (middle school);9-12 (high school)

Pudong campus: 1-5 (primary school)

III. Academic Calendar

The school year is divided into two semesters. The 1^stsemester starts on September 1^st and ends in February. The 2^ndsemester is from February to August. The summer vacation spans July and August, and winter vacation is three weeks around the Spring Festival. Other holidays: one day for Spring Holiday, one day for Autumn Holiday, three days for Christmas, and one day for New Year’s Day. The break for other national holidays are subject to notification from the Shanghai Municipal Government.

IV. School Hours

School hours: 8:15-15:50. Lunch Break: 12:10-13:10. Shuttle buses send students back home at 16:08.

Pudong campus: Shuttle buses leave at 15:45.

V. School Bus

SHSID offers shuttle bus service within a distance of 13 kilometers from school.

VI. Cafeteria

SHSID has two student cafeterias run by Sodexo. Meals areprovided for the students at a fixed daily rate. Students may bring their own lunch. Microwaves and refrigerators are available.

SHSID welcomes students who have special talents in art (painting,singing, dancing, drama, instrumental music, etc.) or athletics (basketball,football, swimming, tennis, etc.). Please submit a self-introduction if you specialize in the areas mentioned above. Once the submitted documents and interviews of all applicants have been assessed, the school will prioritize and contact the outstanding applicants to offer admission.
