复旦附中国际部（FDIS）成立于2002年，为持有外籍护照以及港澳台身份的1-12年级学生提供国际教育。通过采用小班化授课，提供丰富多彩的课程以及课外活动，为每位学生全方位发展提供平台，使所有毕业生成为学术探究、善于思考、有效交流、富有责任心与同情心、具有国际视野、终身学习的世界公民。 复旦附中国际部是上海市教委正式批准的外籍人员子女学校，是国际教育联盟-美国西部联盟组织（WASC）成员之一。实施国际文凭组织授权的IBDP项目。同时也是美国考试中心正式授权的SAT、ACT、AP考点，学生在本校即可参加国际考试。 复旦国际学校（FDIS）致力于国际教育理念的实践。它以小班教学和个性化课程而闻名。它的全英语教学环境、多元文化氛围以及东西方专业教师的结合，都为学生的大学学习和海外生活做好了充分的准备。 FDIS为6-18岁的1-12年级学生提供国际课程。其学生群体由精通英语的非本国青年组成。教学语言是英语。所有学生都必须学习英语和汉语，在某些年级还教授第三种西班牙语。 FDIS为1-8年级的学生提供以美国为基础的课程，而9-10年级的学生则在为将来的高等教育（AP）和国际学士学位（IB）学习做准备的课程下学习。最后，在11-12年级，学生可以获得FDIS荣誉课程、高级安置（AP）课程和IB文凭课程（IBDP）。 荣誉课程是AP预备课程。2007年，经学院董事会授权，FDIS自同年8月起开设AP课程。所有这些课程大纲每年都由学院董事会审核。FDIS还于2010年2月获得国际文凭组织（IBO）的授权，并于当年8月开始提供IBDP课程。DP下提供的每门课程分为两个级别：高级和标准级别。 FDIS是PSAT、SAT、ACT和AP考试的授权考试中心。同样，IB学生也在校园里参加考试。

*For students applying for Grade 1 of 2022-2023 Fall, students should be born from September 1st 2015 to August 31st, 2016.

1. Admissions Policy
1.1 Students whose father or mother holds a foreign passport with the resident permit issued by Shanghai or a permanent residence card issued by the Ministry of Public Security. 1.2. Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China or father/ mother from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China (Parents need to provide documents shows that they are working or living in Shanghai） 1.3. Students with foreign passports with a residence permit issued by Shanghai or a permanent residence card issued by the Ministry of Public Security (Parents need to provide documents shows that they are working or living in Shanghai) 1.4. Students who was born overseas (both parents hold the Chinese passport without permanent residence from other countries, and the child holding the foreign passport without visa issued by China does not meet the admissions policy.); * ‘People's Republic of China Travel Document’（旅行证） and ‘People's Republic of China Exit and Entry permit’（通行证） are not visas. 1.5. Students who hold the approval from the Education Commission 1.6. Students who applying for the Grade 1(2023-2024 academic year) should turn into 6 year old by 31st August 2023.

3.1. Submit the online application form.
Find the ‘Application Entry 申请通道’ on the homepage of the official website.
3.2. Admissions office will contact you for the application materials via mail in one week. Please follow the instruction by Admissions Office.
3.3. Submit the document (hardcopies) before the deadline provided by Admissions Office (Application materials are reviewed and confirmed on Thursday and Friday only excluding holidays).
3.4. Entrance Assessment for ES new grade 1 (Chinese, Math, English and Social-Emotional Learning)
* Except Chinese, all the other subjects will be tested in English
3.5. Family interview. Interview languages are English and Chinese.
3.6. FDIS makes the decision and the Admissions Office informs families via email or phone call.
Applicants need to be informed of the following information:
Fudan International School can help with student visas only if the student’s age is 18 or above.
If there are no seats left at FDIS, students will be put on the waiting list.
